The miso soup at nearby restaurants was a culinary revelation! Loved the vibrant local scene with cafes like Ritual Espresso just down the street and the cozy vibe at Kika. My room was clean and featured fine mountain views.
A better wifi connection would've been a game changer for my hubby's rugby fix.

Unbeatable and magnificent location very close to the lakefront, met the criteria. Moreover, it was so close to restaurants shops and the lake and restaurants.

Everything was perfectly fine, met requirements, and the staff were very friendly people in the most helpful manner. The location was best possible and quiet, and we could reach Gallery Thirty Three by walking. Moreover, it's just next door to the center, bus stops and local supermarket.

Decor felt dated, with a slightly cramped vibe in the room. Occasional noise from a nearby venue was distracting, and the freezer in the Compact Studio wasn't functional, limiting food storage options. Microwave cooking facilities were basic, which wasn't ideal for a longer stay.

modern hotel close to all amenities
compact studio more than compact, very basic, no sink to wash dishes, too small for a table for two to eat breakfast inside

The owner was very helpful and friendly, gave a lot of good advice on sights to check out in local area and recommended an awesome restaurant for dinner, Capriccio, highly recommend the slow cooked lamb shoulder absolutely mouth watering and worth every cent. Bella Vista was impeccably clean and in a great location one block back from the main street and with a view over the lake to the mountains from the 2nd floor rooms. Very good value for money and would recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Wanaka.

Just stayed at Bella Vista and loved the central location! It was super easy to walk to shops and the lake. Our room was clean, comfy, and had a fine view. The evening noise from nearby wasn't too bad, definitely worth it for the view!

Good location
Poor value for money. Compared with a range of other motels/apartments we stayed at in nz this was the poorest although in anof itself it was ok for a night

The location inmidst the city, including the proximity to restaurants, shops and the lake.
Although I already had one of the bigger rooms, the room was very small relative to other motel rooms in the same price range. At the time of my stay the motel was also frequented by tradespeople who were having long discussions at late evening in the sitting corner right outside my room.
